Famous Faces Recreate Iconic Disney Characters

Disney Dream Portraits by photographer Annie Leibovitz have returned and will be gracing pages of a few magazines this fall.  The Dream Portraits series features celebrities taking on the roles of various Disney characters from films and the theme parks.

The latest features those famous Hitchhiking Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion attraction.  Jack Black, Will Ferrell and Jason Segal have been cast in the roles as Phineas, Ezra and Gus with the caption reading "Where you can go on the ride of your afterlife."

As the Behind The Scenes video below shows, Jack, Will and Jason weren’t just playing parts on this one.  Each of them share stories about the first time they experienced the Haunted Mansion and how exited they were to get the opportunity to take part in this portrait.

Other Disney Dream Portraits include Russell Brand as the Peter Pan villain Captain Hook, Olivia Wilde doing her best Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs while Alec Baldwin looks on as the Spirit of the Magic Mirror, Penelope Cruz and The Dude (Jeff Bridges) tell a tale as old as time as Belle & her prince from Beauty and the Beast, Queen Latifah takes on the role of Ursula from The Little Mermaid, and last but not least... rocker Patti Smith joins Johnny Depp atop Capt. Jack Sparrow's Black Pearl for a Pirates of the Caribbean themed portrait.

Watch for these Dream Portraits to appear in fall issues of the following magazines: GQ, O " The Oprah Magazine, People, People En Espanol, Vanity Fair, Real Simple, Essence, and InStyle.
