Walt Disney World debuts PhotoPass+
Today Walt Disney World began offering a new photography package they’re calling PhotoPass+, enhancing the existing PhotoPass package with additional digital download and print options from locations throughout the theme parks. Included in the one-price package are all pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers plus some photos snapped on rides and during character dining.
On-ride photos currently included in the new package are for Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Dinosaur, though PhotoPass has indicated on their Facebook page that they’re considering others.
The character dining locations included in PhotoPass+ are 1900 Park Fare, Ohana (breakfast only), Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Chef Mickey’s, Cinderella’s Royal Table, Tusker House Restaurant (breakfast only), Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, and Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
In addition to all these photos, PhotoPass+ includes a special card and lanyard, a gallery CD with over 400 stock photos (including over 100 new stock photos), and a code to order a PhotoCD online.
Pre-purchased PhotoCD packages online can be upgraded to PhotoPass+ upon arrival at Walt Disney World, but PhotoPass+ cannot be ordered anywhere outside of the parks. Only one PhotoPass+ card will be included in each package, but photos taken during a 14-day or less trip on other PhotoPass cards can be combined onto the PhotoPass+ account if you'd like. The exception is that for attraction and dining photos, guests must have their PhotoPass+ card present for the picture.
